C is for Comedians

I just wanted to put it out there that comedians are some of the most underrated genius writers working today. If any of you watch Jimmy Fallon, Steven Colbert or Ellen Degeneres you know what I mean.

So I thought I'd just leave you with three of my favorite comedians.

Brian Regan

Jim Gaffigan

Mitch Hedberg

Enjoy the laughs!!

  1. I love Jim Gaffigan, he does one of my favorite bacon related jokes.

  2. My cat is named Mitch after Mitch Hedberg. No lie! I love that his jokes are all clean and any swearing he does is conversational between jokes. He has such a unique style. My husband saw him in concert with Lewis Black and I forget who else. So sad Mitch is no longer with us.

  3. Didn't think I would like Jimmie Fallon's takeover of the Tonight Show, but I'm finding him really clever and funny!

  7. Nice choices. I don't often get to watch comedian shows anymore. I miss all those good improv shows.

  8. Who doesn't like to laugh...and you are so right...comics are often overlooked as talented writers. I'm a Colbert fan, too. The three UTube guys are new to me...enjoyed their takes. Thanks for visiting my 'fiction from forgotten foto's Letter 'C' post.

  9. Thanks for stopping by our blog earlier. A good comedian makes for a fun time. My favourite is Denis Leary and has been since I was a teenager.

  10. Visiting from A/Z. What a great "C" word. I haven't heard of any of these 3 comedians that you listed here, so I'm going to check at least one out before I leave your blog. Always enjoy a good laugh and we all know the world needs more laughter :)

good luck with the rest of the challenge!

  13. Nice variation with blogging, using some youtube videos and shorter posts. Ok, I confess, I scrolled down to read about B.C. Did you know in England fans call themselves "Cumberbitches?" In an interview, he said he thought they could come up w/ a better name to call themselves.

Pleased to stop by and hope to stop by again during the challenge. Maui Jungalow
