I also live in the city where's there's ALWAYS some kind of background noise. So if I'm in place where it's still, I tend to think the worst. That's why the "Hush" episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer gave me nightmares! Silence ...I ALWAYS have to have some kind of noise. Silence makes my imagination run wild and the next thing I know, I'm in my living room armed with a spatula.

Samantha Mayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09370961661054617338noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3554125151787997248.post-37254253681114634292012-09-26T00:58:45.757-07:002012-09-26T00:58:45.757-07:00I hear you! Whether it's some music playing or having the tv on even if I'm not watching it, I need noise to feel completely comfortable. If it's quiet, I find myself listening for sounds that aren't there and just a little bit on edge.Paul Anthony Shortthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14393249001158230985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3554125151787997248.post-45695498376811013152012-09-25T17:23:50.345-07:002012-09-25T17:23:50.345-07:00Thanks for the reminder of The Silence. Between The Silence and the fear of Weeping Angels coming out of my closet, I think I'll skip sleeping for the next fortnight.Callie Leuckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09535505792102190920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3554125151787997248.post-72984645576719333802012-09-25T08:51:46.544-07:002012-09-25T08:51:46.544-07:00I struggle with the sams fears. I now frequently revisit great cartoons like Carebears and try to think happy thoughts :) The silence and dark scare me so much that I guess I have found every possible way to avoid them, so I can relate.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10656368340547599511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3554125151787997248.post-53246719686087680882012-09-25T07:10:29.603-07:002012-09-25T07:10:29.603-07:00Yes.
