Time for Book Recommendations

So, I'm going through the library faster than I ever have, meaning I need some good book ideas :) Here are some I've read recently and enjoyed.

1. Swamplanida! by Karen Russell
2. Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
3. The White Darkness by Geraldine McCaughrean
4. My Name is Not Easy by Debby Dahl Edwardson
5. The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate

Your turn! What are the best books you've read lately?

I've read so many wonderful books in the past few weeks, I feel I must reply: Philida by Andre Brink, Swimming Home by Deborah Levy and The Odd Sea by Frederick Reiken. Now I will look up these books you've listed here : )

I loved For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund. It's the last book that I read that I absolutely loved!

I had a pleasant surprise recently with a book I purchased mostly to support a local author. Turned out I loved it. My One Square Inch of Alaska by Sharon Short. Try it.

Lately I've been reading the Outlander Series. If you like history, it's a nice change. :-)

"The Feedstore Chronicles" which a humourous coming-of-age memoir written by Travis Erwinl and "Crow Feather" by Allan Russell, which is a very good time-period western.
