Never too sick to look at sexy skirts. Er...yeah.

Here are some things:

1. It's official, guys, I'm addicted to Pinterest. I've been on it for a while, but I just spent a weekend sick in bed and that sort of solidified my addiction. The cool thing is, I've actually gotten some good blog traffic via Pinterest. (p.s. anybody else having issues with Google Analytics or is something funky happening to me?) I may talk about that later, but for now let's just say it's fun and I'm addicted and you should swing on over and check out what I've got.

2. Speaking of sick, is it just me or is everyone and their dog sick lately? Everyone from my roommate to my roommates friend's roommates, which we found out when we were buying Jamba for our sick roommates at the same time, to the little blond boy in my preschool class who hasn't been in two days and my little sister who I found out stayed home today. Something's going around. If you're sick, you have my condolences and a recommendation: Pina Colada Jamba with an immunity boost and a movie with Hugh Grant.

3. Writing: About ready to start editing Novel 1, and making progress on outline for Novel 2. It seems I'm destined to not be a Young Adult author for a while yet, because many of the problems I couldn't seem to fix went away when I changed my MC's age from 18 to 26. Still lots to figure out, but it's coming.

4. I really like listening to jazz when I write. Set Pandora to Miles Davis or John Coltrane and I pretend I'm in a cafe in Paris.

5. Tell me this is not a sassy, sexy and super fun skirt. It's totally a hard core tutu, which makes me smile inside.

I'm telling you. Pinterest.

p.s. Also these shoes...
p.s.s. And these.

Ugh... I don't get Pinterest. I took a quick look at it, and it looks like "walking through the mall using your Smart Phone". Am I wrong about this? I try to use Tumblr once in a while for "blog bait" because it's for people who have traded in their notebooks for iPods, but it still has this weird feel of "Mac-Menu for pic blogs", because people put on very pretty pictures (heaven help us if they think up something more vicious than SOPA). Tumblr seems to be tailor-made for flash fiction. I can't upload a whole one of my travel blogs. Is Pinterest different?

I'm on Pininterest, too, but I never go to it because I don't understand it. I didn't realize you could get blog traffic, though. That would be cool...

Instead I'm on Polyvore and end up making collages of things I love. It helps me relax, oddly... : }

The skirt is very appealing to look at. The red shoes with polka dots are terrific. I am ignorant about pinterest. John Coltrane to this day sounds great, he could play. His work with Monk is the greatest, also "Giant Steps".

Yes...totally love the skirt. But can't walk in heels if my life depended on it. :)

Fun post!

Cheers,

You make me want to join Pinterest...bad Sarah, offering up temptations! :)

And I'm probably late on this...but I LOVE the new blog layout! The colors, the font in the heading, it's all awesome.

That skirt is amazing and so are both of those shoes! I am completely understanding why you love them! So so cute! As for everyone being sick....I am at the moment! How annoying! I hope the edits of your novel go well! That is the part of the writing process I fear the most!

Hearing more and more people popping over to Pinterest. Haven't checked it out yet. Wish I could pull off that skirt and those shoes. Wicked viruses are attacking my class. I'm going to start wearing a mask to school. Feel better.
